In a fiery tirade, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris took aim at Donald Trump, branding him as a potential “modern-day Adolf Hitler” if he secures another term in the White House.

Standing outside her official residence at the U.S. Naval Observatory on Wednesday, October 23, Harris dropped the bombshell, pointing to a recent interview with Trump’s former Chief of Staff, John Kelly, published in the New York Times. Kelly, who served from 2017 to 2019, revealed that Trump frequently spoke admiringly of Hitler during his presidency, describing him as the very  “definition of a fascist.”

Kelly, 74, accused Trump of praising Hitler’s leadership, allegedly stating that “Hitler did some good things” by  “rebuilding the economy.”  He further disclosed to The Atlantic that Trump was frustrated his staff didn’t exhibit the same “total loyalty”  that German generals gave the Nazi dictator during World War II.

In a passionate three-minute speech, Harris warned Americans, “It’s profoundly disturbing and downright dangerous that Donald Trump would dare to invoke Adolf Hitler—the man responsible for the genocide of 6 million Jews.”

“Donald Trump’s behavior has become increasingly erratic and reckless. If he returns to power, figures like John Kelly won’t be there to serve as the last line of defense against his authoritarian impulses,” she declared.

She concluded with a stark message: “The bottom line is clear—Donald Trump craves absolute power. In just 13 days, the American people must decide if they will hand it to him.”

Her explosive remarks come just under two weeks before Election Day, with the nation’s fate hanging in the balance.
